How the Strategy Works
A reference candle is identified at a fixed time. High and low form the breakout levels. On breakout, a trade is opened in breakout direction – secured by a three-stage system.
What the EA handles automatically
Initial
Entry → SL at the opposite edge of the reference candle (1R risk)
Break-Even
From 0.5R profit → SL moves to entry price
Trailing
From 1.0R profit → Dynamic trailing stop in 0.5R steps
Position scaling on strong M5 momentum. Min. 60% body, separate stop-loss, max. 90 min. after entry.
Where the setup comes from
The setup applies the reference-candle / overnight-range logic to the quiet Asian session: a defined pre-session candle as the daily reference. A dedicated published report for the night session is still pending — the methodology shares its data basis with the DAX/index studies.
